Becoming the first UK ramen restaurant to team up with the creators of Japan's most beloved cup noodles, Shoryu Ramen has brought succulent Hakata Tonkotsu ramen to Nissin's The Ramen Masters series of restaurant-quality, instant noodles. Based on our sister restaurant's signature Ganso ramen, with fine, wavy noodles, a meaty pork bone and chicken broth, spring onion, red ginger, kikurage mushrooms and juicy plant-based meat protein, this premium cup noodle captures the hearty, umami quality of authentic, Hakata-style tonkotsu. The recipe of this instant ramen has been worked on over 9 months with the careful oversight of Shoryu's Exceutive Chef Kanji Furukawa.
How to use
To prepare this instant serving of our sister restaurant's famous Hakata Tonkotsu:
- Peel back the lid half way and fill the cup with boiling water to the inside line.
- Close the lid and let it stand for 4 minutes.
- Stir well, with an optional splash of hot sauce & toppings, from sliced jalapeno or seafood, to even leftovers from Sunday roast before serving!
